Katie is one of the co-owners of Kapiti Hearing. She graduated from the University of Auckland with a Master’s in Audiology in 2007 and later completed her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) in 2014. She has worked in a wide range of clinical settings across New Zealand and overseas, including several New Zealand District Health Boards, as a Clinical Scientist in England, and as a Lead Audiologist in Florida, USA.

Over her career, Katie has worked with both adult and paediatric populations across many areas of audiology, including hearing aids, cochlear implants, vestibular assessment, auditory processing testing, aural rehabilitation, and complex diagnostic cases. She particularly enjoys the complexity and problem-solving aspects of audiology and values providing personalised care tailored to each individual.

Katie joined Kapiti Hearing in 2023 after returning to New Zealand and settling in Raumati Beach with her young son. Outside of work, she plays netball, goes hiking with her son and enjoys long-distance triathlon training.
