Your contents insurance may cover your hearing aids. Contact us initially and we will be able to help guide you through the claims process.
Some insurance companies have deals with “preferred suppliers”. However hearing aids are a medical device and you may choose your audiology provider. You may also ask for a cash payout instead of going to an insurance-specified clinic.
While your insurance provider may strongly encourage you to go to a certain clinic, it is your choice where you get your replacement hearing aids, and your informed consent is required under the Health and Disability Code of Patient Rights.
